Tax incentives for investment in developing countries

ASI conducted a research project financed by the UK Government to develop a new type of investment product, the Development Resources Trust (DRT), which would seek to increase retail investment in developing country equity markers by offering tax incentives similar to those provided for Venture Capital Trusts.

ASI's concept reached the finalist stage of the World Bank's Development Marketplace competition.
