Support to the Privatisation Programme

ASI was the lead adviser for the sale of 17 large loss-making enterprises in Macedonia.  This was the most important enterprise reform project in the country where some of the largest enterprises in Macedonia with a total of over 20.000 people employed were sold to strategic investors.  The role of ASI was to design a transparent asset sale methodology and then advise on all aspects of the sale of assets and equity in the 17 companies.  As part of this project ASI also made recommendations to improve the bankruptcy law.
