Strengthening citizen voice

ASI was the main advisor to the Government of Orissa on privatisation and the restructuring of a variety of state enterprises. The main task was the formation of 6,000 rural water users' associations to take over the management and financing of irrigation schemes and interaction with state and local governments on various issues.
