Regional economic integration

ASI worked with the Ministry of National Economy to assist the Government of Oman in devising options for Oman vis-à-vis economic integration with the five other states comprising the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC). Particular emphasis was placed on monetary policy, and the implications for Oman, and for the region, of closer co-ordination in monetary affairs.
