Reform of telecommunications, electricity and water policy and regulation

ASI assisted the Government with the complete revision of its policy towards utilities and their regulation.  An old Public Utilities Commission had become moribund and legislation underpinning it was highly defective. 
 
ASI's work involved a review of policy and legislation in individual sectors and production of a detailed plan for creation of a new multi-sector regulatory body, the Regulated Industries Commission.  ASI also designed new corporate governance structures for the telecoms company.
