PSP in Roads in India (Chhattisgarh)

ASI advised the state Government of Chhattisgarh in the following areas:

Setting-up the institutional, regulatory and legal framework for implementing PSP in roads
Identifying opportunities for PSP in the road sector (i.e. selecting the inventory of projects)
Working with the State Government in identifying appropriate methods for PPP in Chhattisgarh. For the first time in India the Government is considering tendering a DBFO type contract
Assisting the Government in drawing-up standard bidding documents for different PPP models
Assisting in drawing up complete bidding documents for the projects identified
Capacity building the staff of Chhattisgarh Infrastructure Development Corporation in structuring, delivering and monitoring PPP projects in the road sector
Organised a study tour to UK and South Africa to review PSP in roads in these countries
