Policy review unit

ASI supported the reform efforts of the Romanian Government by designing a Policy Review Unit for the Council of Reform, and overseeing its work. The Unit was composed of international experts in a range of fields, and it facilitated advice to the Government in connection with reform of policy management processes in the Cabinet/ministries, and the role of the Ministry of Finance in the reform process. Particular advice was also given to the National Forecasting Commission on the issue of what macro-economic issues it should examine, and what expertise it would require.
