Outreach to parliament and civil society on budget issues

As part of the ASI managed, DFID-funded Strengthening Afghanistan's Budget Programme, ASI helped to increase Afghanistan's Open Budget Index rating from 8% to 21% through increasing availability of budgetary information to the public and supporting a number of events that have involved the Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance meeting with Parliamentarians and civil society groups
