Education Policy Support to Cabinet

As part of a broader programme of EU funded support to the Government of Romania ASI helped establish a policy support unit (PSU) to support the Romanian Cabinet and recruited and trained a number of Romanian education experts to provide policy support to the Cabinet on education issues and to help provide a link between the decisions of the Cabinet and the policy development function of the Ministry of Education. ASI also provided similar support in a number of other policy areas (Economic Reform, Pensions, Unemployment and a range of Cross Cutting policy issues e.g. Old Age).
