Education Policy and Policy Management

As part of a wider DFID Public Administration Programme ASI advised the Interim Iraqi Government (IIG) on establishing a Cabinet Committee on Education.  ASI prepared detailed ‘terms of reference' or ‘scope and competence' for the Committee and advised on which Ministers should sit of the committee.  ASI prepared detailed procedures for the Cabinet Committee and worked with officials in the Ministries to prepare a series of ‘trial' policy briefs for submission for decision through the Cabinet System.
