Economic forecasting and negotiation

ASI was appointed to assist the Government of Macedonia in assessing the economic impact of the Kosovo crisis. The work involved macro-economic assessment including crisis in balance of payments, assessing the overall impact of the crisis on the national budget, assessing the direct impact of the refugee crisis on the economy, assisting and accompanying the Government of Macedonia to present their case in the emergency 1999 Donors Conference in Paris and assisting the Government in their negotiations with the IMF, World Bank, and other donors.
