Development of privatisation mechanisms

In the early years of Moldova's independence from the Soviet Union ASI advised the Government of Moldova's State Department of Privatisation, on design and implementation of its privatisation programme.  This work involved detailed development of the country's privatisation programme and creation of mechanisms to allow the combination and trading of privatisation vouchers.  Subsequently the government implemented the programme and privatised over 1,500 enterprises.
