Developing capacity for trade negotiations

Under a wider and long term project to develop the negotiation capacity of the Palestinian Authority (PA), ASI  supported the PA in its negotiations on the implementation of the existing economic protocol to the peace accords with the Israeli Government. The project involved strengthening the Technical Support Unit to the Palestinian economic negotiating team; establishing a system to monitor violations of the existing agreement; and developing a communications campaign focused on violations.
