Design of corporate governance procedures

ASI managed a project to design new corporate governance procedures for state enterprises, which are major vehicles for corruption in Nepal. New procedures were created to appoint chief executives and board members on merit, and through a competitive process, thus eliminating a major means through which corrupt politicians manipulated the enterprises for personal or political benefit.
