Contracting out

ASI devised a policy for contracting out public services on behalf of the Government of Guyana. This involved reviewing the extent of contracting out already underway in central and local government, and developing a rationale, framework and methodology for the implementation of contracting out. The final phase of the work involved assisting the Government of Guyana in contracting out of one of the units chosen for the pilot programme.
