Capacity Building of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy

ASIL provided support to MoLESP and National Employment Services, improving their organisational structure and providing capacity building for employees.  The focus of our work was to identify policies aimed at formalising the informal economy, examining how aspirations to join the EU (including adherence to the "Acquis Communitaire"), recognition of ILO regulations and attempts to expand Social Security programmes might reinforce and exacerbate the market dichotomy.
