Bank Sector Restructuring

Adam Smith International conducted a review of the banking system within Guyana.  In particular, examining financial stability and the regulatory environment. 
 
We then assisted in carrying out a number of efficiency enhancing measures were undertaken such as the privatization of the major commerical bank and two further smaller banks.  Additionally, Adam Smith International carried out the restructuring of debt for one bank, reducing the financial impact on Guyanan macro-economic growth.
