Adam Smith International is established, widely trusted and growing, year by year. Our reputation with government and major donor organisations is justifiably burgeoning. As our workload grows and our name becomes ever more widely known, we have a responsibility to ensure that we continue to make use of the brightest, best and most experienced people. We are constantly on the lookout for associate consultants who have the skills and know-how to add to our growing pool of talent.
Working with Adam Smith International is never anything less than rewarding. We give our consultants high levels of influence and responsibility. We trust them to represent us at the highest levels of government and industry and we know that that this trust will be repaid. We do not have a suffocating bureaucracy or an intimidating hierarchy.
Associate consultants are suported by our full time staff, who are largely based in London. Our senior managers are a small, tight, active and highly approachable team who keep a close eye on events. Our reputation is very much built by our consultants in the field and it is in their hands that responsibility for our success lies. Our work impacts directly upon the well-being of some of the world's most needy and vulnerable people, so it is essential that our consultants understand and appreciate the gravity of the jobs that they are undertaking. They must be prepared to work in pressured, uncertain and often difficult environments. They must combine technical expertise with sensitivity, empathy and diplomacy. They must be calm, clear headed and responsible. If you think you have the necessary qualities to be an asset to ASI as an associate consultant, we would like to hear from you.
Please contact us stating your experience and primary fields of interest and expertise, and attaching an up-to-date copy of your CV (MSWord format preferred). An ASI CV template can be downloaded from this page below. Please note that we will not normally contact applicants until a specific opportunity arises, in which case we will invite you to an interview as part of the process of establishing your suitability for the task.
