ASI Team Leader receives OBE

Graham Burnett, team leader (2005-10) of ASI's highly successful tax project in Afghanistan, has just been invested with the OBE by Prince Charles at a Buckingham Palace ceremony. The award is recognition of Graham's highly effective work and leadership in extremely challenging circumstances.

ASI has worked with the Afghanistan Government on a comprehensive, award-winning tax reform programme since 2004, during which time revenue collection has increased six-fold and revenue collected as proportion of GDP has risen from 3% to 11%.
