Since 2005 ASI has been working with the Indian Ministry of Personnel (MoP), in designing and implementing a range of projects that will lead to improved governance and better service delivery to the citizens. It is recognized that access to timely justice is an important governance issue. The MoP, as part of this project, is collaborating with a range of ministries including the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Home (Interior), with assistance from ASI, to design projects with the objective of improving access to and timeliness of justice for poorer citizens at the grass-roots level.
